Marija Mojca Pungerčar, Time for a Walk, Experimental documentary, 2012, 2012
16 October - 18 November 2012
Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova, Maistrova 3
The documentary (Premiere: Monday, October 15th, 2012 at 6.00 P.M., Slovenska kinoteka, Ljubljana, Slovenia) is a tale about people who, for many different reasons, allowed a dog to enter their lives and become part of them. The documentary reveals an unusual example of the combination of formal and in-formal custody, proving that the ownership of and the care for an animal are not necessary overlapping. The film offers a reflection about the share of responsibilities within a community. It puts out a question: is the community model possible? The answer to this question is hiding at the end of the film.
